Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. After months of walking on the Fraser River Trail, I saw something white in the trees, a little ways back from the trail. Turns out it was a small family plot and Catholic shrine!
Now I always see the Cozens shrine from US-40. Previously, I had surmised that many people in Grand County ostensibly worship Ullr, Norse god of snow and skiing, but there is in fact a small Catholic church near this shrine (and about a dozen Christian-type churches in all of Grand County).
Gotta make my way to Kremmling and visit their town cemetery sometime!
